Black Screen — Fullscreen Black Online
A pure, fullscreen black screen in one click. Black is the background that exposes anything that should be off but is still emitting light — bright pixels, stuck subpixels, and backlight bleed.
What to use a black screen for

- OLED black level testing (true black should be truly off)
- Dimming the screen or hiding it as a background
How to use it
- Turn your brightness up and dim the room for the clearest result.
- Click "Go Fullscreen Black" and give your eyes up to a minute to adapt.
- Look for glowing edges (bleed), bright dots (stuck/bright pixels), or hazy corners.
- To tell bleed from IPS glow, move your head — glow shifts, real bleed stays put.
What a black screen reveals
On an LCD, "black" is the backlight shining through a nearly-closed liquid-crystal shutter, so some light always leaks — especially at the edges, where it shows up as backlight bleed. On an OLED, each pixel is its own light and true black means fully off, so any glow is a real defect. A black field is also the only reliable way to spot bright or stuck pixels, which hide completely against a lit desktop.
Bleed vs. IPS glow
IPS glow is a silvery brightening in the corners that changes as you move your head or shift your viewing angle. Backlight bleed is a fixed cloudy or bright patch that stays in the same place regardless of angle. Glow is normal for IPS panels; excessive, fixed bleed may be worth a warranty conversation.
